About Jen

Jennifer Thurman is an inspired executive coach with 18 years of experience advising, consulting and coaching senior executives in many different industries – including healthcare, telecommunications, retail, education and more.

Most recently in her corporate career, Jen led the communications strategy for Medtronic’s Surgical Innovations – one of the company’s largest business units. In her corporate communications capacity, she specialized in planning and executing strategic initiatives that drive growth and support amazing cultures. 

Prior to Medtronic, Jen was vice president of Communications for a national building supply company – today called Builder’s First Source. There, she built a small but mighty team and overhauled the communications strategy, planning and execution to support cultural integration and drive growth. Before that, Jen spent eight years at Level 3 Communications where, among other things, she led communications for six major acquisitions during a period of significant company expansion and industry consolidation. 

As an executive coach, Jen works with senior executives and their teams in various stages of transition, transformation or transcendence to support their goals of achieving meaningful change and evolution – and of making an important impact in the world. Her clients are primarily senior leaders in Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurs championing world-changing ideas.
